Open-kayaking is the first step for those who want to become acquainted with the world of kayaking without having to take courses. It is also an ideal sport for those who have no desire to become experts in kayaking but who enjoy white waters.
Open-kayaking enables you to stop along the river in
places impossible to reach with other crafts, to surf
waves, to go upriver and to learn the techniques required
to be able to practice canoeing. You usean inflatable
boat that can be double or individual.
Routes
* ROC ROI - ISLA (9Km - 1h30m) This
is the most spectacular route but it is recommended
to have had previous experience navigating this type
of craft.
* Escaló - Llavorsí (8km - 1h30m) - Ideal route for beginners
in this sport.
* Gerri - Collegats (10km - 2h) - Ideal route for afternoons
and to see the marvellous landscapes of the Collegats gorges
. This is a good stretch for learning basic techniques. |
