This experience is for those who love hiking and be introduce in a different surrounding by the Andalusian culture. This route has a distance of 12km, we recommend this trekking tour for families or for people that want to try hiking in an easy way.
The half day tour pretend to offer the best of the way, going up to the legendary donkey track towards Granada, going past the ruins of "Los Pradillos" and the demolished "Candido country inns". We will walk across "Las Flores" pass, looking for the "Las Majadillas stream" and we will carry on to the abandoned "Cortijo del Daire" an discover the crystal clear waters of the streams of Zarzalillos and el Mirlo. After a short break, we will go back to the waterfall of the Barranco de Juan Rojo, where our vehicles will be waiting to take us back to Cómpeta.

Always with a local instructor that show us what the nature hides.

Restrictions:

  • We do not recommend this activity for children under 8 years.
  • As this experience takes place outdoors, it can be affected by extreme weather. If you are in any doubt then please call the centre before heading off.
  • Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to partake in the activity
