The activity will be placed in our center in Lanzarote. it will be consisting in more than a half day tour with many entrances to caves and narrow passages that make this tour entertaining and amusing.
PaddleinSpain Centre Group arranges guided day trips of various distances and duration along the coast of Lanzarote. Only 3 kilometres away from the base and beyond lay a row of virgin black beaches, most of which are only accessible from the sea.
The day starts in our Base in Puerto Calero, place where you will meet your instructor, receive your equipment, for this activity we will use a sea kayak, easy to manage and control. We will be getting change and get ready to enjoying the environment. Your instructor will be accompanying you all the time in tour and give you a briefing on safety and paddleing techniques. This sea kayak beginner tour is for people with little or no kayaking experience.
After the sea kayak basic instruction on land followed by simple maneuvers and emergency procedures on the water we will be ready to paddle across the coastline.The aim is to get all participants to feel comfortable with the kayak and to be able to control the kayak before the actual tour begins. The tour goes from Puerto Calero along the volcanis coastlines to Playa Quemada and along the black beaches of the Natural Reserve of Los Ajaches. We normally stop for a short break on one of the beaches before heading back to the base.
This tour + introduction is our most appropriate tour for absolute beginners, who have never paddled before or have a little kayak experience. It is a very pleasant segment of the Lanzarote coast.
Restrictions:
- Minimum age: 16years
- Juniors must be accompanied of an adult
- All participants must know how to swim
- Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to partake in the activity
