Description:
The island of Lanzarote (Canary Islands) seems to come from distant planets, and where the heat from the centre fo the earth shoots of the surface.
Sea kayak expeditions aimed at eh intermediate and experienced paddler are frequent events in PaddleinSpain programme and can be book especially in advance. On this tour will see the whole marine reserve that Lanzarote offers.
Programme (5 days / 4 nights)
- Day 1: Arrecife – Arrieta- (26km / 16.16mi) :
- Introduction to the sea kayak safety techniques
- Sea kayak fittings: back rest and footrest
- One day excursion with lunch in “Los Cocoteros”
- Arrival and camp
- Day 2: Arrieta – La Graciosa ( 25km/15.53mi) :
- One day excursion with picnic in Orzola
- Arrival at La Graciosa and camp
- Day 3: La Graciosa – La Santa (33km/20.51mi) :
- One day excursion with picnic in La Caleta Famara
- Arrival and camp
- Day 4: La Santa – Playa Blanca (49km/30.45mi) :
- One day excursion with picnic El Golfo
- Arrival and camp
- Day 5: Playa Blanca – Arrecife (35km/21.75mi) :
- One day excursion with picnic in Playa Quemada
- Arrival end of services
Restrictions:
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Juniors must be accompanied of an adult
- Good sea kayaking experience needed
- All participants must know how to swim
- Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to partake in the activity
- This activity can be affected by extreme weather conditions, if this happens the organization will offer you better and accessible alternatives.
