Sea kayak Course in Mallorca
Perfect chance to get out there and learn a progressive sport (Level I and II)
Description:
The activity will be placed in Mallorca at the Port of Pollensa.
Sea kayaking is one of the most affordable and versatile watersports available.
This course consist in gives you all the basics for paddleling in a sea kayak. Once you get the main objectives, we will deep into the paddle, technical resources and safety .
This course is designed to gain a good control of the kayak in only two sessions.
Contents of the course Level I and II :
- Knowledge of all parts of kayak and equipment used
- Effective forward paddle stroke.
- Reverse paddling and stopping.
- Steering and controlling the kayak.
- Lifting, carrying, launching/landing in sheltered waters
- Assisted deep water rescue.
- Low pressure recovery stroke to prevent capsize
- Edging the kayak
- Turning the kayak using edging technique
- Self rescue in deep water with use of paddle float.
The training will be delivered in an informal manner, with lots of opportunities to practice and experiment with various techniques and coaching methods.
It's necessary known how to swim for this activity and you must be confident in the water. Minimum age restrictions: 10 years
Restrictions:
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Juniors must be accompanied of an adult
- All participants must know how to swim
- Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to partake in the activity

It's not included:
You should bring:
- shirt or lycra
- Swimming trunks
- Dive boots or shoes that can get wet
- Solar protection
- Towel
- Spare clothes
