Waterskiing course in Barcelona
Get out there and water ski!
Description:
The activity will be placed in Calella de la Costa (Costa del Maresme -BCN) This course will be consisting in a 4 sessions of 15 minutes each. Easy to get started and split this 4 sessions under your convenience.
You will be under the supervision of our experts that gives you the follow steps to get introduce to the course:
- Place the water skis snugly on your feet. (this is very important)
- With the rope in your hands, place it between your knees.
- Point the skis about shoulder length apart, towards the boat with at least 6-12 inches of ski above the water.
- As the boat begins to move forward, keep your knees in parallel.
- Arms straight out.
- Press slightly forward with both feet.
- Stay in a sitting position until the boat pulls you on top of the water.
- Stand up
- Do not pull the rope towards your body, keep the arms straight
- f you feel you are going off balance use your body to slightly steer in the right direction.
- Remain balanced, head towards the boat, and do not look down at the skis. Keep your back straight, with skis shoulder width apart.

The day starts at the PaddleinSpain Centre Group - located in "Playa Gran" of Calella(next to the Nautical club).
You will receive your equipment (lifejacket, wake..), getting ready and go to our boat.
Ready to be waterskiing!
Restrictions:
- Minimum age: 14 years
- Juniors must be accompanied of an adult
- All participants must know how to swim
- Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to partake in the activity

Usually this course takes 4 sessions of 15 minutes each, that you can split under your convenience, like one session everyday, or one in morning time and other one late in the afternoon.
