ROCROI is an
outdoor company that was founded in 1996. The company organises
outdoor activities in the Pyrenees during the spring, summer
and winter. The water activities take place
on the river Noguera Pallaresa, which include, rafting, kayak
courses, canyoning, and in the winter time in Andorra (Gran Valira
ski resort). |
ROCROI were
the organizers of the 2001 Freestyle Kayak World Championship
and the 2004 Freestyle Kayak European Championships. Wwe held
the freestyle kayak eurocups and extreme kayak races, as well.
The company is also the main distributor for kayaks and accessories
in Spain, including the best brands in the market place (DAGGER, PYRANHA, ROBSON, ROTOMOD, HIKO, REED, PELI).
Building on our success we have created our own brand, RIVER
PEOPLE STUFF with a full range of accessories. |

Web-maps.net is an Internet
company founded in 2003 on the Costa Brava, Spain. Isaac Sunyer,
who owns the company, worked for seven years mapping important
sea kayak routes in the Costa Brava. The company now specialises
in maps on the internet and kayaking websites. With interactive
maps, the company has attracted high profile costumers such as
Patronato de Turismo de Madrid, Ayuntamiento
de Barcelona or
Riu Hotels. |
Along with the kayaks, web-maps.net has
developed and operated the first on-line kayak shop in Spain
(http://www.topkayak.com)
and is also developing websites for other kayak centres (http://www.piraguamurcia.com , http://www.nootka-kayak.com, http://www.kayakingcostabrava.com).
Both companies, RocRoi and Web-maps.net,
came together and launched paddleinspain.com,
to offer paddlers from all around the world a huge selection
of destinations to paddle in Spain.
