Description:
The activity will be placed in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands) it will be consisting in a whole day of exploring beautiful scenery.
For this activity it's necessary to have previous experience.
The day starts at the PaddleinSpain Centre Group - located in Fuerteventura.
You will receive your equipment, for this activity you will have at your disposition individual and double kayaks so that you choose the way that you prefer to kayak; alone, with your partner, in a group…
We will be getting change and get ready to enjoying the environment. You will meet your instructor, the one will be accompanying you all the time in tour and give you a briefing on safety and paddleing techniques.
On this trip we will paddle from Corralejo to the Natural Park of Islote de Lobos,
The Islet of Lobos is a small isle situated to the north of Fuerteventura, from which it is separated by around 2 Km. It houses very valuable habitats in magnificent condition. This small island, belonging to the township of La Oliva, possesses a high landscape content, which is unique and representative of Canary geology and geomorphology. Many of the park's plant species are today protected by several norms. It houses numerous exclusive species and endemisms (such as Limonium ovalifolium canariensis), which live in habitats in magnificent condition. More info about the Islet HERE.
We will be paddling around the island. Our first stop will be at the beach of Lagunas del Puertillo,where we will have a great paella with sea food and fresh fish, have some resting and a little bit of snorkeling, ideal for enjoy the diversity of marine life off the coast of this Natural Park.
After that we will paddle back on our way to Corralejo.
The tour will be all the time supervised by our instructor that will be guiding the tour.
Restrictions:
- Minimum age: 16 years
- Juniors must be accompanied of an adult
- All participants must know how to swim
- Before your booking, please inform to the centre if you are exceptionally tall or overweight, or if you have any medical conditions, disabilities which affect your ability to partake in the activity
